Audio Transcription Specialist (AI Training)

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong listening skills and a keen eye for detail. No professional transcription experience required.

What You'll Do

• Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, well-formatted written text following clear guidelines

• Handle a variety of audio types — different accents, speaking speeds, and recording conditions

• Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and speaker labeling conventions

• Flag unclear or ambiguous segments and note speaker changes where relevant

• Meet quality standards and turnaround targets across each batch of work

• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• A strong, focused listener with excellent attention to detail

• Comfortable typing quickly and accurately for extended periods

• Patient and methodical when working through challenging audio

• Able to follow detailed written guidelines consistently

• Reliable and self-motivated in a remote, task-based environment

• No prior transcription or AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with transcription software or audio playback tools

• Familiarity with different English accents or dialects

• Background in captioning, journalism, or content production
