English Writing Generalist (AI Training)

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong English writing skills and a sharp editorial eye. No prior AI experience needed — just a genuine command of the English language and a commitment to quality.

What You'll Do

• Write, edit, and refine English content across a wide range of topics and formats

• Evaluate AI-generated text for clarity, accuracy, tone, and overall quality

• Identify grammatical errors, awkward phrasing, structural issues, and inconsistencies

• Apply detailed style guidelines consistently across varied writing tasks

• Provide structured, actionable feedback using provided evaluation tools

• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Native or near-native English fluency with strong command of grammar and style

• Naturally detail-oriented with a sharp, consistent editorial eye

• Able to evaluate a broad variety of writing styles and subject areas

• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently

• Clear written communicator who can articulate quality issues with precision

• No prior AI, journalism, or content experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in writing, editing, copywriting, journalism, or communications

• Experience with proofreading, quality assurance, or content review

• Familiarity with AI writing tools or content platforms as an end user

• Knowledge of multiple style guides (AP, Chicago, MLA, etc.)
